সম্প্রতি পশ্চিমবঙ্গের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা ব্যানার্জি বলেছেন—
“ঘরের বউদের বলবেন ঘুগনি বানিয়ে দিতে, এক হাজার টাকার মধ্যে রাস্তার ধারে চপ-চা বিক্রি করে ব্যবসা শুরু করা যায়। কোনও কাজ ছোট নয়।”
নিশ্চয়ই কোনও কাজ ছোট নয়।
কিন্তু প্রশ্ন হচ্ছে—
👉 এই উপদেশ কাদের জন্য?
👉 এই বাস্তবতা কাদের ওপর চাপিয়ে দেওয়া হচ্ছে?
এই প্রশ্ন আজ তুলছে অখিল বঙ্গীয় জনতা পার্টি।
আত্মনির্ভরতা নাকি দারিদ্র্য ব্যবস্থাপনা?
আত্মনির্ভরতা মানে কি শুধুই—
রাস্তার ধারে চপ-চা বিক্রি
ঘুগনি বানিয়ে সংসার চালানো
ঠেলাগাড়ি ও ফুটপাত নির্ভর জীবন
যদি সেটাই হয়, তাহলে প্রশ্ন উঠছে—
পশ্চিমবঙ্গের শিল্পায়ন কোথায়?
বাংলার যুবকদের কর্মসংস্থান পরিকল্পনা কোথায়?
স্টার্টআপ ও আধুনিক চাকরি কোথায়?
কারখানা, গবেষণা, বিনিয়োগ কোথায়?
একসময়ের শিল্পসমৃদ্ধ বাংলা আজ কেন শুধুই street vendor economy-তে সীমাবদ্ধ?
দ্বিচারিতার রাজনীতি
একদিকে—
সাধারণ মানুষকে বলা হচ্ছে ছোট ব্যবসায় টিকে থাকতে
গৃহবধূদের “উদ্যোক্তা” বানানোর নামে রান্নাঘরে আটকে রাখা হচ্ছে
শিক্ষিত যুবকদের স্বপ্ন ছোট করে দেওয়া হচ্ছে
অন্যদিকে—
মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর ভাইপো বিদেশে চিকিৎসা করান
শাসকদলের পরিবার বিদেশি সুযোগ-সুবিধা ভোগ করে
সাধারণ মানুষ সেই সুযোগ থেকে বঞ্চিত
এটাই কি পশ্চিমবঙ্গের স্বজনপোষণের রাজনীতি নয়?
আবেগের রাজনীতি বনাম বাস্তব অর্থনীতি
বিগত বছরগুলোতে আমরা দেখেছি—
আবেগ দিয়ে ভোট রাজনীতি
দারিদ্র্যকে গৌরব হিসেবে তুলে ধরা
প্রশাসনিক ব্যর্থতাকে “সংগ্রাম” বলে ঢেকে রাখা
কিন্তু বাস্তবতা বলছে—
পশ্চিমবঙ্গে বেকারত্ব বাড়ছে
শিক্ষিত যুবকরা রাজ্য ছাড়ছে
শিল্প বিনিয়োগ কমছে
অর্থনৈতিক আস্থা ভেঙে পড়ছে
আজ বাংলার যুবসমাজ প্রশ্ন করছে—
আমাদের ভবিষ্যৎ কি শুধুই ফুটপাতে সীমাবদ্ধ?

কেন বাংলায় দুটো আলাদা ব্যবস্থা?
আমাদের অবস্থান
আমরা চাই—
সম্মানজনক কর্মসংস্থান
শিল্পভিত্তিক বাংলা
যোগ্যতার রাজনীতি
স্বজনপোষণমুক্ত শাসনব্যবস্থা
বাংলা ভিক্ষা চায় না।
বাংলা সম্মান, অধিকার ও ভবিষ্যৎ চায়।

Introduction
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee recently suggested that households should start roadside businesses by selling tea, chops, and homemade snacks like ghugni, claiming that “no work is small.”
Indeed, no work lacks dignity.
But the real question is—
Who is being asked to struggle, and who is not?
This is the question raised by the Akhil Bangiya Janata Party.
Self-Reliance or Poverty Management?
Does self-reliance mean only—
Street food vending
Tea stall survival
Informal roadside employment
If so, where are the—
Industrial jobs in West Bengal?
Youth employment policies?
Startup ecosystem?
Manufacturing and research hubs?
A state once known for industry and intellect is now being reduced to a street vendor economy model.
Politics of Double Standards
On one hand—
Ordinary citizens are advised to survive on small roadside businesses
Women are confined to kitchens in the name of entrepreneurship
Educated youth are asked to lower their aspirations
On the other hand—
The Chief Minister’s nephew seeks medical treatment abroad
The ruling family enjoys elite global facilities
Common citizens are denied similar access
Is this not nepotism in West Bengal politics?
Emotional Politics vs Economic Reality
For years, Bengal has witnessed—
Emotion-driven politics
Glorification of poverty
Governance failures disguised as “struggle”
Meanwhile, reality shows—
Rising unemployment in West Bengal
Youth migration from Bengal
Declining private investment
Economic confidence crisis
The youth of Bengal are asking:
Is our future limited to pavements and pushcarts?
ABJP’s Clear Stand
The Akhil Bangiya Janata Party firmly believes—
Bengal does not need:
Charity-based politics
Token self-employment schemes
Survival-level livelihoods
Bengal needs:
Dignified employment
Industrial revival
Skill-based opportunities
Merit-driven governance
An end to family-centric politics
Conclusion
Selling ghugni or tea is honorable.
But forcing an entire population into survival jobs is not development.
When rulers choose global privilege for their own families and local hardship for common people, it is not self-reliance—it is inequality of power.
Bengal does not beg.
Bengal demands its rightful future.
